Duties:

Responsible for working alongside the CFO and actively participating in responsibilities and duties of the position; identifies opportunities for improved fiscal viability; processes payroll; performs accounts payable functions; reconciles accounts payable, inventory and bank accounts, and acts as a backup for the CFO.

  • Performs accounts payable and payroll functions
  • Prepares and processes payroll
  • Analyzes expense accounts for accuracy and trends

Position Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in business or accounting preferred

Duties:

(TLC Caregiver) performs in-home services that are all non-medical services to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. The following is a list of services that TLC Caregivers may routinely perform; however, it is not exclusive of other reasonable requests:

  • Responsible for communicating all schedule changes, concerns, and any other care related issues directly to their supervisor.
  • Responsible for documenting in accordance with the company documentation system set forth.
  • Caregiver is expected to interact with patient and in social settings with high integrity, politeness, respect and excellent communication.
  • Caregiver is expected to be prepared to act in emergency situations as trained.
  • Caregiver is expected to communicate with supervisor regarding patient needs and recommendations for care plan change.
  • Caregiver is expected to perform the duties that are outlined in each Care Plan.
    • Companionship
    • Light housekeeping
    • Meal planning and preparation
    • Bathing/Showering assistance

Hospice of Huntington is looking to hire a Full-time (30 hours) Cook at Hospice Care Inpatient Unit.

  • Three 10 hours shifts per week
  • Rotating weekends
  • Some Holiday work required
  • Excellent Benefits package

Duties:

  • Prepare and plate food for patients
  • Keep kitchen in a neat, clean and healthy working environment.
  • Receive food and stock, monitor deliveries, place food or stock in the proper areas.
  • Complete daily cleaning and detailed cleaning of kitchens and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow the guidelines set by the Cabell County Health Department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Previous similar work experience in a health care setting is desirable but not required.
  • Must be able to deal with patients, family members, visitors, public and Hospice staff under varying conditions with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Must possess a current Cabell County Food Handlers Card.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to read and follow directions and recipes.
  • Must be able to monitor food quality and temperatures to be within the critical control points.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work with high-temperature foods and equipment.
  • Must work with sharp utensils and equipment.
  • Philosophy must be compatible with the hospice concept

  • Processes data in the database for hospice patient records
  • Maintains the patient hospice medical record
  • Prepares correspondence associated with medical records
  • Maintains hospice initial visit “blank charts” and admission packets
  • Maintains record of comprehensive billing forms and changes in level of care
  • Completes discharge analyses and discharge summaries on all patient records
  • Researches medical records and coding related to the aspects of new services.
  • Understands and uses anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology required to correctly code professional provider services and diagnoses.
  • Integrates medical coding and payment policy changes into reimbursement processes.
  • Enter all CPT and ICD-10 coding into system timely and accurately for code capture.
  • Confirm all documentation required for coding is complete and meets required regulations
  • Performs other work duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

  • CPC Certification
  • MUST have at least 1 -2 years coding experience
  • Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding.
  • Extensive Data entry experience.
  • Ability to utilize various computer software systems.
